The Journey

"Life isn't about the events; it's about the response. I am sure that whatever happens, I won't just "survive" it—I will find a way to turn it into an opportunity."

Roots & Resilience

The Foundation
I come from a working-class family with Latin American roots in Southern Italy. I grew up seeing my parents working long-hours and eventually multiple jobs. I have always tried to be “normal,” but always feeling slightly out of place.

At 17 I decided I would move to Milan. All the savings I’d stacked up over the years suddenly had a purpose. I arrived convinced I was stepping into the most intense, exciting chapter of my life. And then, in a blink, the lockdown hit.

By September 2020, I was finally there for real. I brought my dog and moved into a social housing project with a specific goal: to help requalify the neighborhood.

Leadership & Community

Shifting Culture
Once life restarted, studying alone never felt like the full picture. I became president of the Entrepreneurship Club PoliMi and joined Alta Scuola Politecnica.

With the club, we weren’t trying to just “run events”. We were trying to shift culture—to make entrepreneurship feel normal on campus. We started the University Startup Challenge and a bunch of extracurricular courses, and I also jumped into the startup world as a junior mentor in the InnoVits accelerator.

A few years later, I became the PhD representative of my faculty. I wanted PhDs to see entrepreneurship as a real path.

The Northern Ecosystem

Obsessed with Startups
Then I moved north for a double degree with Aalto University. I volunteered wherever I could: Dash, Junction and Slush. I learned how quickly you can grow when you’re surrounded by people who ship, iterate, and don’t romanticize the work.

At the end of 2023, I was hired by Intergrid as a machine learning engineer, which let me keep living in Finland and keep learning at full speed and thanks to role of EIT Digital Ambassador I traveled across Europe meeting people who were building real things.

Building & Staying Human

PhD, Nexabit & Life
And then I came back. I left a well-paid job in Finland to start a PhD at Politecnico di Milano. The reason was simple: I wanted to build my own company, and I needed the space to do real research. That’s what I am doing now. I joined the Carbon13 venture builder in Berlin and with Nexabit, I architected the MVP and successfully validated the technical thesis with industry partners. At the same time, I try to keep life wide enough that I don’t become only my work. I did stand-up comedy, took a solo trip through Mexico, and learned to scuba dive. Next stop: flying a plane and training for a Spartan race,
